Carbon Credits
Carbon credits are tradable units representing one ton of CO₂ (or equivalent) reduced or removed from the atmosphere, which companies and governments buy to offset their emissions or meet climate targets. SETAH plans to generate these credits by collecting organic waste, converting it into compost through bioreactor systems to avoid methane emissions and increase soil carbon, then measuring and verifying the impact under recognized standards like Verra or Gold Standard, and finally selling the certified carbon credits to buyers in voluntary or international carbon markets.
